Dale is a senior at Knappa High School (The Loggers), who was one of the players on last years state championship baseball team. Yeah, he’s good (already signed to play baseball at Blue Mountain Community College after he graduates). In addition he’s also a beast on the basketball court and a great student. I was beyond thrilled to help Dale create some awesome senior photos.

We started in the high school gym to create some photos with dramatic lighting, using the reflections off the floor and using shooting from some fun angles. Indoor locations are great to work with because there’s never to worry in regards to weather and the ability to totally control the light with multiple lights adds to awesome photos.

When we did move outside for the baseball pictures, there was rain that we had to work around. Thankfully we had some cover in the dugout and used the time to wait out the rain and make a couple more images. Dale loved the idea of a flaming baseball, so with some composite photos we safely created the flaming baseball shot.

An old fishing net warehouse was another location that we used. It featured an abundance of old weathered wood and loads of graffiti, which can always make for an awesome background.

Dale was awesome to work with and I wish him all the luck in his future.
